The Barão Coarsely Ground Yerba Mate is named for its coarser grinding; after drying, the herb is ground in a mill, giving the yerba mate leaves a larger grain size.
It is made with a special blend that highlights the quality of the plantations grown in the Barão de Cotegipe region. Its drying is done in a rotary dryer, making the yerba mate more intense, with a slightly toasted and more bitter flavor.
